HDFC Realty, Infibeam foray into instant home booking

AHMEDABAD: Infibeam and HDFC Realty have teamed up to launch a new initiative that would help people book homes online by paying a token fee, thereby stirring up a $13 billion e-commerce market which is growing at the rate of 30 per cent annually.

Confirming the development, Vikram Goel, CEO, HDFC Realty, said, "There are a few portals which sell real estate online, but they offer booking for only a single vendor." Goel said the portal, hdfcrealty.ooo, isn't similar to housing.com or Snapdeal.com as HDFC Realty will facilitate online buying backed by offline assistance and it will be open to all builders after the scrutiny process is over.
